Swimmers wishing to claim records MUST do so immediately after the race at the Records Office.

Swimmers / Managers / Coaches are urged to notify the Chief Timekeeper and the Referee if they feel that a record time may be swum.
In doing so this will avoid the disappointment of a record not being ratified due to the fact that there were not three REGISTERED Timekeepers on the lane in the event of the ETD malfunctioning.

The ONE START rule will apply.

Medal winners must present themselves neatly attired in Club uniform and on time for all medal presentation.

Only registered swimmers already entered in the Championships may compete in relay teams. The swimmers age and SA Identity Number must be submitted on the relay entry form. Failure to swim in the order listed may result in disqualification. Substitution may be made up to the start of the relay event only in the cast of a team member becoming ill and at the discretion of the Gala Referee.

The Referee's decision is final and in accordance with FINA rules.

Protests must be submitted in writing with the R100.00 deposit to the Meet Referee within 30 minutes of the incident in question.

The Meet Referee's decision will be final.
