1. Achieve one Swimming South Africa Qualifying Time for Senior Nationals as published.
2. All swimmers that meet the selection criteria may be considered for selection as full members of the squad. There is no guarantee that they will be selected.
3. A swimmer who does not fulfill the criteria, but the selectors believe will complete a relay team that could win a medal, may be considered for selection.
4. In order to qualify for incentives over and above the tour grants (subject to funds being available) a swimmer has to achieve 700 FINA points or more in any event.
5. The Selection Committee reserves the right to deviate from the above mentioned criteria in the interest of swimming in the Province.
6. The disciplinary record of a swimmer will be taken into consideration when selecting the team.
7. Any swimmer who is not in good financial standing or otherwise with Eastern Province Aquatics, will not be considered for selection.
8. All selected members will be expected to stay and travel with the Eastern Province Team, abide by the Team Management rules and the Eastern Province Code Of Conduct.
9. All Eastern Province teams must be ratified by the Executive before being announced.
