Registration Process 2011-2012
Every person who participates in any event organised under the auspices of Swimming South Africa, whether that person be a competitor, coach, official, team official, (Club or Provincial Team Manager or Chaperone) member of a Provincial Board, Executive Member of a Club MUST be registered with SSA through their Province and in turn through a Club.
Each member must therefore be registered with a Club that is affiliated to the Province who in turn is affiliated to SSA.
Registration documents can be downloaded here but must be returned to your swimming club.
Do not fax form to the EPA offices!

Top Achievers - Open Water Swimming
Female Open Water Swimmer of the Year 2010

Jessica Roux
Jessica achieved a third place in the S A National Open Water Swimming Championships which was held at the Midmar Dam, KwaZulu Natal on the 9-11th April 2010.
In addition to this she achieved the overall position in the recent Ocean Racing Series Season 5 which is held over a six months period.
Jessica was the overall winner in the 5 and 10km in the 2009-2010 EC Swim Series.
What a fantastic achievement!
Male Open Water Swimmer of the Year 2010

Michael Marais
This young swimmer achieved a third place at the recent SA National Open Water Swimming Championships which took place at Midmar Dam, KwaZulu Natal during April this year.
Michael is the current EP 10km open water champion and was also the overall winner in the 5km category of the EC Swim Series.
He was also runner-up in the 3km discipline of Season 5 Ocean Racing Series.
In the 7km Bell Buoy swim which took place over the Easter Weekend Michael was the first local man home achieving a 3rd position.
He also received the Eastern Province Officials Club trophy.
